Lynette Marie, Energy Artist
From her clifftop studio overlooking the azure blue Pacific Ocean, artist Lynette Marie creates abstract works of art,
mostly acrylics, that make a statement on any wall.
Her paintings are varied, some including more realistic elements taken from nature - flowers, animals, birds, celestial bodies. Others may contain poems or words. One thing her artworks all have in common is colour. They're bold, bright, attention-seeking.

who they really are.
When she is moved to paint, she says "wild energy" takes over and the artwork emerges quite quickly. She says the nickname gifted to her, Lionette, perfectly sums up her approach to her art.
Not one to follow trends or stand still, she constantly experiments with and masters new techniques to achieve the effects she desires. Alongside the jar of paint brushes in her studio, you'll see palette knives, scrapers, sticks and containers of glitter.
"I can't be put in a cage. There's something untamed about my work. Sometimes, what springs to life from the canvas surprises even me."
For Lynette Marie, painting is all about expressing herself. From an early age, she has poured her emotions and love of colour onto canvases.
